I had gotten into a disagreement with CTO the past week on some technical decision and it got a bit heated. I was informed I am being laid off due to company restructuring and the usual "financial constraints" excuse. I acted all good shook hands and walked away. But according to my contract I must be given three months notice before termination. I had already planned my vacation with CTO and gotten it approved. It was due in a week. I packed my stuff went home and three days later got my self a lawyer. What happened next was a long legal battle. Which honestly was fun. In my next post I will explain how keeping notes and getting things in writing came in handy for me during the court hearings. By the way the CTO was also sacked about a month after I was laid off.

🤣 I Dey die When I was switching jobs with a 5x salary increase, I had to consult my girlfriend at the time to factor in her view And I was transparent with my salary If you can’t do this pre-marriage, your marriage is in shambles
Quame Jnr@quame_jnr1

I don’t even understand guys. Last time someone was arguing with me about being hesitant to tell your girlfriend your salary until marriage cos she can act funny. Like bruh you’re waiting to make an eternal pact before you find out how she can act???

@xevekiah No good mother in-law will advice you to disrespect the man that Married you, she's outrightly against your union, it may have worked for her that way but believe me yours isn't going to last, you better change and behave well before it's too late.

Two weeks after our wedding, my mother in law finally came to visit since she had missed the ceremony due to a flight issue. It was my first time meeting her, but we instantly got along. One day, while we were in her room, my husband walked in looking irritated and asked where the laundry I had done was. He was specifically looking for a shirt I had washed. I excused myself to find it for him, but when I came back, my mother in law questioned me. “Why do you let him talk to you like that?” she asked, clearly surprised. “You already did his laundry, and he still can’t find his own clothes? What does he think you are, his maid?” She pulled me closer and added, “Listen, don’t let him treat you like a house girl. Since I got married, I’ve never done your father in law’s laundry, he actually does mine. That’s how I raised him to be. If he can’t even appreciate your effort enough to look for his own clothes, then let him wash and fold them himself.” That was the last time I ever did his laundry in that house and now he’s the one doing mine. Good mothers in law really do exist.

Actually, AI itself can very likely repeat its own passco. I used it to prepare for 2 exams last year and it repeated pleeeenty. Also, with all its hallucinations, it can also ask “wrong” questions. Lastly, If you know what passco has done for human kind ah. Gyae roff w’ati

I’m shocked that Ghanaian universities are not leveraging AI to set exams questions and disrupt the long-standing past questions model It is the lowest hanging fruit for academics
