We moved into new labs a few months ago, but already we need a bit more space. 🤔 So what’s better than a shipping container full of feather experiments? Two shipping containers (welded together) full of feather experiments! 🪶 We are hopefully moving in next week!

Don’t adjust your television set... these feathers are meant to be a little more yellow than normal. 😎 Just another day here in the lab as we work on the best way to turn waste feathers into #sustainable materials!

Hard at work on a sunny day! Right now, we are testing a few different drying parameters to see which work best for freshly cleaned feathers.

A warm welcome to Alex! Having finished up writing his PhD at @ucl, he joins us as a Research Scientist. 🔬 When he is not being forced to pose for pictures, Alex will be using his chemistry background to help us further develop novel methods of processing waste feathers.
