We also asked the Green Club, mostly comprised of grade 9 students, to create this beautiful paper from recycled paper and print the poem on it as a gift.

Examples: a student’s project was to write a book of poems. One of them was used as a little gift for each student.

Next: set up study groups, identify leaders and volunteers, agree on the concepts needing a review, use advisory time for 15-20 min focused and deep work. Reinforce that teaching is the highest form of learning.

Observe-Ask Questions-Investigate-Present. Today we were at the Present stage of our first inquiry into object-based learning. We learned about Korea by looking at their coins, China and their seals, India and their bracelets, USA and their baseball team shirts, and so much more!
