Manhunter (1986) gives us one of the most quietly unnerving takes on Hannibal Lecter. Brian Cox plays him without theatrics, it’s a colder, sharper Hannibal, and in many ways the most unsettling version we’ve ever had.

@TheCinesthetic It’s my personal favourite movie of the whole series and Cox is brilliant, he waits like he is in a Hotel waiting for room service. “I will call when I am finished” right enough, “ I am finished”

@afc1903mad @RangersBanter17 It’s a hard decision but you have a point with what everyone thinks is the best league in decades but that’s because a door is opened and there for a team outside Glasgow to step in and I wish it had happened 10 year ago when 1 of those two still got an advantage in players there

Dead Man’s Shoes (2004) is a revenge film with the air stripped out of it. Shane Meadows shoots it like a wound that never closes, and Paddy Considine gives one of the most devastating performances in British cinema.
