@alinalately It can feel unfair, but fragility is what makes time valuable. If nothing ended, nothing would matter the same way.

Some days it just hits me how fragile life really is. We spend years just trying to figure it all out, then in a blink it’s gone. Doesn’t it seem unfair sometimes? I guess all we can do is make the moments count while we have them.

I wish you’d stop shutting down posts like this. Even if it’s unrealistic, people should be allowed to vent a little on Twitter. What do you really gain from picking apart a stranger’s passing thought?

@FactBuff the moment a kind person starts choosing themselves, people who took them for granted usually notice first.

When a kind person finally puts themselves first, don’t take it as selfishness. It’s self-preservation they learned the hard way.

I can’t understand why they’d accept such a large order based on a single phone call. If it had been a long-standing customer, that would make more sense, but this was a new client, wasn’t it? Normally you’d ask for payment upfront, a deposit, or simply decline the order until trust is established. Then again, expecting common sense or good judgment these days might be asking too much. *Of course, the real blame lies with the criminals.

Never let views, likes, or comments discourage you from expressing your honest self or sharing something you genuinely feel is worth sharing. Most of us are small accounts anyway. We have very little to lose by being honest, but a lot to lose by constantly shaping ourselves around approval.
