@allowingpluto @HeroOnTheWind But that was arguably the best Ganondorf we've ever had. He's old, maybe not redeemable, but regretful. He doesn't even want to kill Link or Tetra at first and shows his desires weren't just gaining power for the sake of it. For once, he felt human. And I loved it.

@westemwind @BoofBear443 @erenaisyonce Not sure I would say tacky for imaginal disk since that’s their most deep and artistically driven project up to now but there are definitely moments on it that have those lighthearted vibes from their other stuff, like the beginning of vitc and the music videos

@allowingpluto @BoofBear443 @erenaisyonce i would even argue imaginal disk had a sense of tackiness to it. the outro of love is everywhere is extremely musical theatre core, the chorus of VitC is very cutesy and a bit pathetic and not very romantic at all

@feral_villain Battle scenarios are kinda basic compared to age of calamity but the ancient sages are awesome and everything involving the mysterious construct is absolutely top-tier. The entire final battle might legitimately be top 5 in all of Zelda, it’s that good.

@NE0XMUTANT I was a tad disappointed with a handful of the non single tracks. There’s some really great stuff after the singles onslaught at the beginning for sure (YES GODDD, $T. LOSER) but I think the amazing singles all being at the beginning makes the quality gap far more obvious

my thoughts on W$GIA are positive although I think it suffers from poor tracklisting. the singles are ALL phenomenal, which make it hard for the rest to shine. especially when they're all back to back

@wariocolosseum Switch in 2018 was just one big long wait for smash bros dude. After such a killer first year they could not have followed up with something more mediocre

honestly i think this is quite good. lots of variety in this lineup and overall seems far more compelling than the switch 1’s second year
