8 appliances, firefighters and officers have been on scene at this field fire in Wappenham since 2pm. Approx 30 acres of stubble involved in fire, spreading to neighbouring fields & hedgerow. Farmers have been helping to create fire breaks.

Don't you just hate it when you see a vehicle driving down the hard shoulder to avoid sitting in queuing traffic? Don't you just love it when there's a Police vehicle sat in the queuing traffic and there to witness it and stop and deal with the driver! 👍

It was only raining a little... at the start, so continued the lawn edging & tidying up. It won’t last long. What rubbish, I finally gave up and came in after the iWatch tried calling the Coast Guard because I was so wet!!

Had fun getting a 2/4.5 @GoGeocaching today with @anneray #choxi & Abby. So glad I had a spare pair of trousers in the car. Had a feeling it was going to be deep so didn’t bother rolling trouser legs up

Thx @anneray for not laughing when you heard the commotion in the kitchen when I dropped a bag of flour on Abby, who went into hiding while Choxi came to the rescue bouncing in the flour, then I had to chase her around the house with flour paw 🐾. Hovis next time!

Well, these came out well, only our 2nd attempt at bread making. Think just need a bit more salt but the texture is stop on 👍
