@kdavid5513 I don't disagree. But to be saying that the change needs to happen after one game is what's crazy. We used to have an empty hole in the lineup when pitchers hit. So I'm a little more lenient on the lack of offense from the 8 or 9 hole if it gets me a platinum level defender.

@baseballthinkin A platinum catcher that also happens to be the worst hitting catcher weve ever seen. It’s gonna be a tough pill for ppl to swallow. Susac has an elite glove. He’s a former top prospect (1st round pick) it’s about winning not feelings. If Susac destroyed baseballs Bailey can F off

The Giants announced that Luis Matos was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations. Tyler Fitzgerald was DFA’d to open a roster spot for reliever Dylan Smith, who was acquired from Detroit.

Schmitt at 1B is interesting. Against a lefty so makes some sense. I would love to see him ball out. I know I'm in the minority being a big fan of his.
