Had a great time at a recent blockchain event hosted by @ColuxChain at Leeds University Union. Really impressed by the quality of the event and the people in the room. If you’re based in Leeds and interested in blockchain development or quantitative finance, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on what they’re doing. Always refreshing to connect with others in the industry who are building, thinking long-term, and focused on real innovation. Looking forward to the next one.

One SINGLE person printed 27% of all fake euros in Europe from his GARAGE Italian police raided a house in Naples and found a printing lab hidden behind the garage To get inside he built a fake wall on rails behind a cabinet that opened with a homemade electronic switch Behind it was an industrial production line with 31 digital printing machines running nonstop He printed €11 million in fake €20, €50, and €100 bills €8 million had already been sold across Europe, mostly through France Police found another €3 million in finished notes ready to ship The European Central Bank confirmed the fakes were so good even the holograms looked real 10 countries reported finding his bills before they tracked them all back to one guy in Naples One man in a garage was responsible for more than a quarter of every fake euro found in Europe in 2023 This would never happen if Bitcoin would be the official currency Every coin is verified by thousands of computers around the world at the same time You could build a thousand of these bunkers and you couldn't print a single fake Bitcoin

People that say things like this are part of a death cult. Henry Adams curve fell off when they took the dollar off the gold standard and broke our money That's also the time they started pushing the climate stuff They knew full well the henry adams curve was good for humanity and they engineered it's break. Anyone that wants to be mindful of climate belongs to a group that wants a lower population and is ignorant of the henry adams curve, same for electric car owners, those that right now say 'but it's cool camel, it's even faster than a lot of petrol cars' don't realise they will soon eat the bugs. Electric car owners and bug eaters are the same thing. Many just don't understand this curve enough to see it.

I don't know what it is about this, but it tells me that the market isn't efficient. I remember reading the Warren Buffett "salad oil" story regarding the American Express scandal, where the stock absolutely tanked from one scandal. However, when Buffett really analyzed the inherent behavior of the customers, it hadn't changed. I do wonder if this stuff just blows out the window and nothing happens. If it all calms down, I wonder: 1. How fast those prices will go back up? 2. Will that price ever return to the inflation adjusted mean? 3. Or is the Dubai really done for a long time It's an interesting one to think about. Because if three doesn't happen, someone is sitting on a gold mine buying right now. Anyone who knows what they're talking about buys when there's fear.

I bet there's a massive opportunity for political betting market arbitrage because of these rapidly developing and unregulated, brand-new betting markets like Kalshi and Polymarket. I'm not just talking about Kalshi and Polymarket; I'm talking about all the next ones that are going to come within five years. There are going to be so many new betting markets, platforms, and infrastructure to find Edge. Very, very interesting times. I can definitely see a parallel to multiple events within the crypto space, like the old Kimchi premium.
