Growing up being Spanish but black it's a funny thing cause I always felt like the people that had my skin color in PR or anywhere I went in the world did not identify themselves as black people. And even in my household my parents didn't think we were black And I use  to be like 'So what the hell are we' And my mom use to be like (No me traigas Negros Por Aqui) And that's exactly what I did. She hated her mother so bad 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ but her dad in the other hand a white men with green eyes she loved him dearly. I embrace my color and I teach my daughter how to embrace hers. Being this color it's not a crime and it's not a religion and it's not a certain type of people. It's being this color! Thank God I did not let ignorant people make me hate myself. If anything it made me love it more! Yes I'm brown/black and I like it. Why don't you. Smh.
