Outcomes scale. Hours don't. The day you stop selling your time is the day your income stops being capped by your calendar.

A landscape firm owner was chained to his desk to build every estimate. Deals dragged for weeks. We built him a way to quote by voice, from the job site. He closed $350K the week it went live. Runs estimates from his surfboard now. That's the version of "more" worth chasing.

anthropic should really just add a $500 plan > 100% weekly limits instead of 50% > fable stays available after july 7 > higher fable usage limits so many people would get this

Where I think this goes for a normal owner: Not a chatbot you babysit. Not another dashboard you forget to open. The routine work just gets handled. Quietly. While you sleep. So you wake up and run your life instead of the machine. That's what we're building toward.

The owner who wins with AI this year won't be the fastest to adopt it. It'll be the one who used it to get free, then went and grew. Speed of adoption is a vanity metric. Freedom is the real one.

@boldceo @huseynovecon @bcherny @claudeai To be honest, sounds like a prompting issue running high effort. Without a well optimized prompt it burns excessive resources on simple tasks. Also, I wouldn’t use Fable for everything. Save it for highly complex work; Opus and Sonnet handle the rest just fine.

Fable 5 burned 28% of my weekly limit AND used up my 5 hour limit with two prompts in about 30 minutes. @bcherny @claudeai how is this acceptable with a 20X plan? It’s unusable

Here's the bar this thing has to clear before I'll ship it. It has to take something off your plate you'd otherwise still be doing at 9pm. Not a feature. A night back. If it doesn't hand an owner real life back, it's not done. That's the whole standard.
