Some driver education for Lagos people: 😅 please learn how to maintain your lane and understand the importance of road markings. Some of you need to go through an online driving school, because I don’t think you can even go to a physical one at this point, they have to bring the information to you. Lol But then again, the government should cut all these grasses and remove the old asphalt from here. They should do this thing excellently. It would even be better to use interlocking paving for the excess portions. I know the drainage is going to be done, but I don’t know when. They should try and implement these works fast. I understand it may take a few months, but it shouldn’t take this long. The sidewalks should be done by now. This road is going to get busier because there are so many events coming up. A lot of people will be around, and traffic will increase. This is the time to clean up, clear the debris, fix the sidewalks, and complete the drainage as promised. Also, the stretch from Phase 1 down to Bonny Camp needs rehabilitation. I heard it will be done, but now is the time to do it. With so many events and people coming in daily, these things should be completed in advance so visitors don’t encounter potholes or wonder what’s going on. @Sola_Giwa @seunosiyemi_ @Engr_FDarams @jidesanwoolu @LASGWorks @followlasg @edward_wonder @DebolaLagos @lasparklagos @gbenga_omo @LawmaCares @Lawma_gov 🎥: Driver Education about importance of Lanes and Road Markings

@AmuzatOladimeji @Midatlblog One thing I want to ask @jidesanwoolu is why’s there no one single smooth road like this in the whole of Ikeja. All Ikeja roads have terrible surfaces, patched here and there, you can’t find one single stretch of 3km that’s super smooth in the capital of Africas richest state.

@Midatlblog This is very wrong... No be everything we go import. There are no standard speeds in designing road lanes in Nigeria.. these are loophole we need to fix. Imagine doing top speed on Lag-Ib express only to see a u-turn on your left, where cars have halted completely to maneuver

@lekankingkong @ChelseaFC Chelsea will win but you guys will still loose another match, then you will understand that your(Arsenal) problem is spiritual but needs a bigger sacrifice than all those you have been carrying in the past.

Would Chelsea fans choose to lose to Man City if it meant Arsenal didn't win the Premier League? 😅

Once there’s a “Mazi” in front of their name beware of them.
Nigerian Bar Association@NigBarAssoc

When statutes limit judicial meddling in party affairs, judges must show restraint, adhere to the law, and focus on cases properly before them. We call on the National Judicial Council to make regulations that will sanction any judge who knowingly assumes jurisdiction in matters clearly barred by law, grants orders in respect of intra-party disputes in violation of statutory provisions, or lends the authority of the court to partisan political maneuvering. The NBA will not shy away from drawing the NJC’s attention to the actions of any judicial officer found to have acted in a manner inconsistent with the judicial oath, constitutional responsibilities, and the preservation of public confidence in the courts. The NBA will not hesitate to activate its constitutional responsibility to protect the integrity of the justice system. The NBA calls on the Independent National Electoral Commission to exercise its expanded supervisory powers with utmost neutrality, independence, and fidelity to democratic values. The Commission must not, under any circumstances, be perceived as a participant in political engineering or as an institution whose regulatory authority is deployed in a manner that weakens political pluralism. The Chairman of INEC, being a distinguished Professor of Law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, is uniquely positioned to appreciate the constitutional implications of these developments. The NBA expects that the Commission, under his leadership, will ensure that its actions reflect independence, fairness, and strict adherence to democratic norms. The Bar is closely watching the conduct of the Commission and expects that its regulatory role will strengthen, not diminish, confidence in Nigeria’s democratic process. The Bar will deploy all lawful mechanisms, engagement, advisory opinions, strategic litigation, and disciplinary processes, to ensure that lawyers do not weaponize the legal process so that the judiciary is not misused. Lawyers must remain officers of the court, not architects of procedural manipulation. Nigeria’s democracy must not be weakened by legal maneuvering, institutional capture, or the misuse of judicial authority. The courts must remain arbiters of justice, not instruments of political advantage. Electoral institutions must remain neutral umpires, not participants in political contests. The electoral institutions must operate within the bounds of constitutional democracy. MAZI AFAM OSIGWE, SAN PRESIDENT

There are hundreds of Tinubu in the southwest. As you can see, there are many he respects. All the rumors about him being some emperor are false. Even in Lagos he does not have such authority. Lagos Governance Council are the people- most of them octogenarians, who decides what happens in Lagos. Akanbi is just a man who have the respect of his elders and trust of his juniors. Rather than hate him learn from him.
