@YJ04FZZ Yeah its not uncommon for B7s to have electrical issues.. Shame really but its how these older buses operate, reliable but have a multitude of possble issues

(2/2) already we have discovered that practically every connector and relay in our electrical panel showed corrosion, one connector missing a leg due to that corrosion so theory does have some weight to it...

@YJ04FZZ Not too sure, may be worth giving Volvo Truck and Bus a call to see if they can advise over the phone, very helpful team!

@busengineer Should all be fresh fuel. (I think we ran out completely) but plenty has now been back in with some diesel bug treatment, Whether there is any split fuel pipes not sure. Do you know does it have a Lift Pump in the Fuel Tank, surely the Injector pump doesn't pull fuel all that gap

Update 20/03/2026: Replacement Fuel Pump installed but unbelievably FZZ still wont start, Not sure where we go from here with this, Never the less we returned to interior, prepping the master bed room for Carpet and Double Bed this Saturday, We also a few small bits of trim.

@YJ04FZZ Might also be worth checking for any contamination within the fuel itself aswell

@YJ04FZZ full of water in the controller is common on B7s. well any bus really as theres a multitude of leaks that come from upper roof dome, windscreen, gaps in bodywork etc

28/03/2026: Sadly despite new battery yet more Diesel, new fuel filter been fitted and 6 hours of trying FZZ still has problems with its fuel system. We also discovered the Destination Board Controller was full of water and snapped a bolt. 😩 More work tomorrow! #REALITY #BusLife

Bit of an update…. Merry Christmas! Announcements will now work fully without any issues after a fix for a few issues were made its way onto all vehicles today, and RE71’s front display works at last! More work is in the pipeline, so watch this space! AD^

@BusesDepth That makes things slightly less worrying if that is normal, We've never seen that before pushing start and that makes the headlights flash and horn sound? Could that be also why there is nothing on the Dash using the Start Button in the Engine Bay?

Mixed update on 32473: After visiting our 32473 today she is not doing so well, Interior is soaking wet and mouldy, The dashboard no longer works at all and the start button now sounds the horn and flashes the lights. Only small hope that a company in Keighley can help on Tuesday

6/7 I cancel my Christmas leave from work to attend Keighley expecting our Bus back at all, whilst there I get an Email telling me the suspension of FZZ is broken and the Bus won't be coming home and cannot be towed and that we would have to arrange to have FZZ returned or fixed

Something that was meant to be done but sadly it failed right at the last minute... Paint crazing (orange peel) which meant it could not be sent to client in time. And got stripped back and redone. Here it is after being untaped this morning.

@travelmayflower @HantsPolice @dailyecho at the company I work at, I was about a month into the job and we had about over 40 windows smashed, including light bulbs and a coach aircon unit. Sure cost a bomb, managed to get a vast majority of them fixed in a few hours thankfully for the pm school run.

Yesterday was spent organising Audio/Visual announcements at work Typically the Visual part worked, Audio didn’t. Spoke to the manufacturer this morning and a fix has been sourced, sent a new file to one of the fitters who will try that today. Fingers crossed 🤞 Take a glimpse
