@EatDirtBlock That is really sad to hear. I mean back in the day butchfemm was the only visible form of lesbianisim had strict sexual dynamics but we are way past that. Most older lesbian couples I know are masc4masc. Perhaps this is something that arose with the younger generation?

I had a fascinating discussion with a butch at dyke night about how (IN THEIR EXPERIENCE) a lot of people in the masc4masc dating scene are functionally DL because they view being attracted to femmes as part of their gender and I’m wondering if anyone else has thoughts on this?
