One thing I find really interesting in the community is the sentiment that Gekishin nerfs top tier characters solely to benefit new releases, when that isn't necessarily true. When you actually sit down and list what happened, it isn't even close to being the case

@DotoDoya It’s actually miserable rn. Playing against a god vegeta just means the enemy tank is never gonna die. He has way too much survivability it feels like fist beta zamasu all over again where he just never dies

SSG vegeta in squadra MIGHT just be the craziest character release so far. I feel like SSG vegeta mirror matches are toxic. literally neither of them will ever die or have the ability to get away from one another. Think he is very overtuned rn

@DKD1607 Because it's not the vegeta that fought Goku it's vegeta before the fight. They will most likely release another saiyan saga Vegeta down the line that fights Goku and does the pose.

YEL SSJ4 Goku has a ton of super “old Legends” abilities: 1. No blast armor on strikes 2. Damage reduction based on opponent arts card usage 3. 2x card draw speed, cover null, and damage guard penetration on ult only when there’s a dead ally On top of this, his stats are pretty low for a zenkai LF character and there are a lot of usable YEL characters right now. I think they just need to go all in on making this guy solely dedicated to helping UL SSJ4 Goku. On top of monstrous damage and damage guard numbers, he at the very least needs cover null on entry and I’d also like to see some sort of protection (either ki or card protection) for a few counts on entry. To pair well with UL SSJ4, he probably also wants sub count reduction from standby against big moves (UL Goku only lowers sub counts by 5) and it could be interesting to provide card protection support to UL SSJ4 so he can just stack damage guard penetration uninterrupted, although that’s not a mechanic that we’ve seen before. Overall I think it’s going to be pretty difficult to make this guy exceptionally good considering how his existing kit is designed for the modern game but hopefully they figure out a way to get it right.

Not in the Squadra program personally but I think it would’ve been cool to include some of the creators in your program in your 1/2 Anni event somehow. Even a 50/50 split or something, but I’m no marketing genius so I’ll leave it to the people who know what they’re doing 🫡
