I sincerely hope young people learn to use discogs. it offers a comprehensive music database (i.e. it fills in gaps you’re missing on streaming) and it’s a powerful music discovery tool if you browse by record label - ya know, those things that ppl relied on before algorithms

@Yorikke1 der vertrieb von kommerziellem film ist in erster linie von verleihern und ihren profitinteressen abhängig, alleine daran scheitern die aller meisten festivalfilme außerhalb von ihren jeweiligen festival screenings weiter in zirkulation gebracht zu werden.

Ich verstehe wirklich nichts von der Ökonomie des Filmgeschäfts, aber kann es sein, dass manche Filme ausschließlich für Festivals produziert werden und nie im normalen Kino oder im Stream zu sehen sind?!
