The Indianapolis Prize is proud to announce the 2023 Emerging Conservationist, Fanny M. Cornejo. Cornejo is a primatologist, anthropologist and director of @Yunkawasi, an organization that works with Amazonian and Andean communities for the conservation of threatened species.

I'm so happy to be part of the team in #INDY. Everyone at @VOXGlobal has been incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. Can't wait to begin making an impact here.

The older you get, the more you see someone's lack of effort as their lack of interest in you, someone's lack of interaction as their lack of resonance with you, and someone's lack of response as your lack of importance to them regardless of what they tell you.

Not trying to force what doesn’t flow is a sign of growth. You’re no longer invested in convincing people of your worth. You choose to only grant space and time to those who recognize your essence.

Going forward, access to you needs to be sacred and intentional

Sometimes you have to choose yourself, and sit in the discomfort of leaving others behind.
