The 5 is able to read the defense and make good passes along with shooting the 3 or midrange jumpers. Moreno can do none of this. He doesn’t have the skill set for the zoom action. I’m sure he’s gonna be relied upon to be the stud we need, and it’s gonna be another mid year. (2)

It’s 2 am and I’m still trying to see why everyone is so set on Malachi being our stud(project)5. He can’t shoot. He can’t dribble. Rarely blocks shots. He does rebound fairly well. Typically in Pope’s offense, the 5 is able to dribble the ball up and get the offense set. (1)

I personally don’t think the announcement of him coming back changes UK’s odds. Kentucky/Nike getting the money right is what matters.

@BanteredB_ No doubt about it. I think the money is probably comparable, it's the matter of playing for a hall of famer or a coach who relatively not shown he can run with the big Dawgs. Just my perspective.
