"This decision now stands as binding precedent. It places real legal constraints on future governments and ensures that the Emergencies Act cannot be repurposed as a political convenience. It restores the act to what Parliament intended: a narrow, exceptional tool, not a blunt instrument against dissent. The government spent millions defending the indefensible. It lost completely. And in doing so, it handed Canadians one of the most important civil liberties rulings in a generation. That is worth celebrating.” @cvangeyn nationalpost.com/opinion/christ…

There's a certain consistency to the Carney government flip-flopping its way to swearing never to support the operation to destroy the Khamenei regime and simultaneously doing nothing to protect Canadian citizens from beng murdered by that regime. Of course, we're quietly grateful that the US is destroying the Khamenei regime while also protecting Canadians under death threat from Khomenei. It's a fair bet the US has a clearer track on the 700 IRGC operatives in Canada than than the disinterested Carney government does.

I think this guy is right Rogan is out of touch with a large portion of Canadian voters, those are the ones that voted for Carney, those are the ones that are still looking for Lawrence Welk reruns

CBC's JP Tasker doing his darndest to smear the world's most popular podcaster and whip those audience boomers into a frenzy... all because Pierre Poilievre had the gall to speak to Joe Rogan CBC's pompous insularity grows hourly @joerogan @PierrePoilievre

A populist Canadian conservative who likes Americans - that's unbeatable in Rogan's crowd. Assignment: Undermine Trump's anti-Canadian belligerence within Trump's base. Job done. Worth 100 CNN interviews:

@cbcwatcher @KenTurner7 The CBC could have critiqued the interview after the fact. But, predictably they had to attack Rogan for bla bla bla even before the interview. They have 1.5 billion reasons to smear Rogan and Poilievre.

Strange article that cites only Canadian "experts" to evidence Canadian leverage in the #CUSMA / #USMCA renewal negotiations: Barry Appleton, Inu Manak, Don Newman, Colin Robertson & la piece de la resistance, Justin Trudeau's Deputy Chief of Staff, Brian Clow. Feel confident?🤷‍♂️

Joe Rogan is 100% correct: Alberta is a truly amazing place with some incredibly hardworking people! And to my friend @PierrePoilievre's point— Mr. Rogan, consider this your official invitation to come back to Alberta this summer and visit the greatest outdoor show on earth, the Calgary Stampede.

A tale of two Iranians 1. - A 19 yr old national champion wrestler. Executed today for the crime of marching with 30,000 other murdered young people who just wanted freedom. Canada said nothing. - A Shia cleric of that Islamo-fascist regime. Just given Canadian citizenship. Marching in support of the regime at an al quds parade in Toronto in his first week in Canada. If there’s a way for Canada to be on the wrong side of history, this is it. Thx to @AlinejadMasih for keeping everyone informed. Here’s to a free Iran.
