day 57 - building share.eaves.ai in public 55/1000 subs got banned on X... again. second time. really strange as we post original content with data from the app in each post, similar strategy like other fintech platforms. have reached out to a few influencers and we might get some help getting unbanned. 2 TikTok bans and 2 X bans in 2 months. must be doing something right. have been slipping with acquiring new users last few days because of this.. and some churn

day 50 - building share.eaves.ai 65/1000 subs spent parts of the weekend automating email content. using the @beehiiv API to send weekly digests with app screenshots taken through @puppeteer. they end up and drafts and I will add some human sprinkles to make them feel more alive also built a portfolio match feature where users can match their portfolio to hedge funds to see which they are most alike. all users with a portfolio get a match score looking forward to break $1000 MRR

hey @nikitabier, our X account @eaves_app was banned for the second time. we post unique content daily with data from our app: eaves.ai we never post duplicates, and we also spend time commenting on other posts etc. we spent 1 year building the first acc that was banned, then 8 months building this one with followers... could you help out?

day 40 - building eaves.ai in public 58/1000 subs been a busy week trying to automate content in all sorts of ways. completely automated threads an x content through building a replica machine if the posts we been doing with data from FMP api. these are doing really well still spending time replying and posting other app content on these platforms have now been deep into automating TikTok content with Claude helping me set up a Claude -> fal.ai workflow with app screenshots through puppeteer... the flow is live but guessing TikTok is getting quite smart in how they ban these account bc we are not getting much engagement will continue with the content creation. growing reasonably! some new features launched, will post about those tomorrow

maybe for some. for me, build-in-public is a series and a diary, i show what being a builder actually looks like, step by step. once i hit $100k mrr, every one of these videos gets 10x more valuable. if i don't, it's still an honest record of the facts and the feelings. either way, i win the internet is full of success stories told in hindsight but almost none in real time, before you know how it ends. that's the version i'm documenting

One thing I learned from the platform, whether I like it or not, is that everything this guy says is true (even if some of it looks ridiculous to me) Every algorithm change or suggestion of what works better in the platform - ALWAYS TRUE. And "building in public" will most likely not work for you. It would probably only work for you if you have achieved something big - for example, people are interested in my product because it's on $126k MRR. I think people would be better off sharing videos on how to achieve something than talking about their day-to-day. Today, people want the sauce on how to do something (cut-to-the-chase) You need to do something big and then explain how you do it. That's how you grow your business. This something "big" you are trying to achieve will most likely not be through X if you are just opening a new account. It doesn't have to be how to "make money" per se, like Postiz. It can be in any field, but it must contain the "outcome" and "proof" that you have done it. Luckily for me, I have TrustMRR and Stripe MRR shares to prove that everything is legit.

day 28 - building eaves.ai in public 41/1000 active subscribers! just hit breakeven numbers. automating parts of the marketing funnel has had a huge impact on both posting frequency and quality. being big on threads was maybe not what we prioritized but as long as we get views. reminder to post everywhere. channel matters less, views counts
