So it’s personal news from me…election results day was my last day on shift for BBC News. I have had a fantastic, varied and fun 23yrs. The best bit is the great people I have worked with. Very lucky to have finished packaging from Bristol with my team.

On the Central Line train I used to take to work, pre-Elizabeth Line that was always standing room only. Now everyone is gloriously spaced out and there is no one either side of me wedging me into my seat!! Rather loving it!!

Just had long discussion with Mum about the concept of elevenses. She has never heard of it before. How is that possible, especially with a daughter who can potentially turn any hour into a -ses ?!

Husband listening to some random discussion on the radio about love at first sight and he said "I fancied you as soon as I saw you ... I still fancy you now" !!! I'll take that on this #ValentinesDay, 34 years on, when I don't look like I did then!
