@cine_scope Alien - bit pedestrian until the gooey thing came out the fella’s stomach, then it picked up. Graphics and makeup could’ve been more scary, but it chugged along. Fair play to the cat for getting out alive too. 6/10

@cine_scope Groundhog Day - first time I’ve watched this and ironically I may watch again. Slightly impressed they managed to string out as much of a storyline as they did over a fairly basic premise, so that was good. 7.5/10

@cine_scope Four Weddings And A Funeral - thought it was alright, some elements of comedy, bit wishy-washy in places obviously but I didn’t get bored at least. Just so happens that was about as much Hugh Grant as I could take by the end. 6.5/10

@cine_scope Chariots Of Fire - pleasant storyline with a top-notch soundtrack to boot, granted it was a little slow in places (ironically) but ultimately a heartwarming tale of triumph. 7/10

@cine_scope Gentlemen Prefer Blondes - won’t be rushing to watch this again, hard to really know what the story was, acting was wooden, didn’t realise it’d be a faux-musical. 4/10 because I’m in a good mood.

@cine_scope A Fish Called Wanda - a lot was going on there but when it all calmed down and became obvious what was happening, it was pretty good. A calamitous comedy caper for all the family, would watch again. 7/10
