I'm actually fine with mischaracterisation (ooc) because everyone has their own interpretation + understanding about certain characters.
What I don't like is when the 'mischaracterisation' become so popular and people think it's canon and they don't want accept the true canon 🥲

i dont care about mischaracterisation in fanworks. in truth, no character can truly be correctly characterised unless written/drawn by the creator themself. some people get so hung up on characterisation that they dont even let themselves enjoy the content in front of them.
