I know the UK 🇬🇧 settlement route is abit uncertain, but Opening a Business solely for the sake of “Visa Sponsorship” is not a very solid idea. It puts everybody under some form of pressure. You need to first have an intention to Manage and run this business properly.

You are right and wrong based on your perspective and opinion. Firstly, running a business is painful and requires extra effforts, it will make you think bigger and wider, so your thought process will become wider. Secondly, it is not everyone that can actually run and manage a business, and answering to people in your business is totally different from the way you answer to people when you are doing 9-5.

A friend of mine just passed his UK driving test. 15 attempts. £62 each time. That’s £930 just to get a licence. And here’s the crazy part… Some of the things he failed for didn’t even make sense. What one examiner overlooks today, another will fail you for tomorrow. Same mistake. Different outcome. He questioned a few decisions, got no real explanation. So it makes you wonder… Are these tests actually consistent, or just subjective depending on who you get? Either way… Respect to him. Most people would’ve quit way earlier.

You can make $500/hr selling your knowledge. I started doing this when I was in Shell. And it was one of the reasons I left so I can double down on what was working. If you are considering diversifying your 9-5, get into expert networks. This is one example from a company called GLG. I tell them what I know about "US Hydrogen Energy" and they pay me for that. I literally set my price. Depending on demand/supply, you can set yours to $150, $250 or $1,000 an hour. Books >>> Yahoo.
