Jeremy Jahns on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie: "The Super Mario Galaxy movie is a montage of Nintendo nostalgia bait on screen. That's the actual plot. ... The music in the movie has a better plot than the movie. This movie is just Super Mario Bros.-esque scenario, Easter egg that goes with it. Rinse and repeat. ... It feels like it has too many branches of an overly convoluted one. ... Super Mario Galaxy movie feels like they thought they were making a Super Mario Galaxy coloring book. ... The Super Mario Galaxy movie is fun for kids, but well, the parents got to stay and watch it with them if they want to be responsible. If you're smart you can pass it off to the babysitter."
