Woke up to some new commissioned artwork in my inbox from @idrawanimation 👀 There’s that old saying “Earth without Art is just Eh” A little corny but so true and that’s why I love supporting artists. There are so many incredible ones in Web3. Whenever I commission a piece it’s because I trust the artist’s creativity and vision, knowing they can create something in a day’s work that I will hold and appreciate for many years. I don’t provide any direction beyond just please take all creative control, I trust your vision. You gotta let the artists cook! Don’t be a weirdo and give feedback like oh I don’t like that direction, that doesn’t look like my ape, the pose looks off, etc. You’re not talking to ChatGPT or Gemini, you’re dealing with a human putting their hard work and talent into a real, hand drawn piece of art.
