The future is exciting!
We have acquired @csdeCups starting from their upcoming playoffs! The playoffs will now be called "SGL: CSDE proCamp Cup".
This also mean we can announce our first set of format changes!
SGL Spring 2025 and onwards will now have 2 divisions.
The formats will be as following.
Division 1:
4x GSL Groups, top 2 teams from each group proceeds to Single-Elimination playoffs & will guarantee a return for the next tournament.
The 8 worst placed teams will proceed to a Relegation Bracket.
Division 2:
4x GSL Groups, top 2 teams from each group proceeds to Single-Elimination playoffs, with top 4 from the playoffs proceeding to a Relegation Bracket. Teams placed 5th - 8th, while teams finishing 3rd & 4th will be removed from the division - but receive an invite to the SCQ Circuit.
Relegation Bracket:
2x Double Elimination Brackets.
Stage 1: 3rd & 4th places from Division 1, top 4 will proceed to Stage 2
Stage 2: Top 4 from Division 2, as well as the top 4 from Stage 1. Top 4 will qualify for Division 1.
SCQ Qualifiers:
Regional Qualifiers, best team(s) from each qualifier qualifies for a Closed Qualifier, top 4 qualifies for Division 1 while the next 8 teams will qualify for Division 2.

Division 2:
5th - 8th from SGL: CSDE proCamp Cup
