right now, playing @PlayTCGArena means owning tokenized slabs, that's a small group. rentals + free mode change that.
card rentals: battle with grails you don't own, while owners earn passive yield on cards just sitting in their wallet. every card in the ecosystem starts producing whether the owner plays or not.
free mode: learn the game with zero risk, then bring your own collection once you're hooked.
the goal is simple, open the arena to everyone, not just the people who already collect onchain.

How TCG Arena works 🎴
hold an entry fee of 1,000 TCG to play → battle with the cards you actually own → free games or SOL-wagered pot games → winner takes the pot & generates higher yield.
The yield:
Every game earns points. each epoch pays out dividends every 24h, those points pay out a SOL reward pool, your share = your points with different multipliers for your yield.
Your rank, leaderboard status, and activity boosts your dividend rate.

How I built the TCG Arena economy:
hold 1,000 $TCG to play. Paid games are SOL-staked, winner takes the pot.
Every game earns points → each 24h those points pay out a SOL reward pool, funded by the token tax.
Rewards are in SOL & $TCG yield, and yield comes from our $TCG treasury, so it can’t inflate to zero like old p2e games.
You need $TCG to play, this is our entry fee.
There is no staking. Just play and earn.
There are 2 different game modes:
Free to play - play games, win, make points and earn yield from $TCG.
Wager to play - pay a pot in SOL to play, win, earn a multiplier of yield from $TCG and win a prize pot in SOL.
Every epoch we distribute all players with rewards based on their points.
If you make it to the leaderboards, you receive massive multipliers.
This is TCG.
