Sharing a moment of joy. My son has been gone for almost six months (basic training/tech school). Last night he came home and this was our dogs’ reaction.

Volunteering for the Red Cross (holiday cards for heroes) with a bunch of college students at AMSOIL. I asked them if they knew who Dennis Anderson is or the significance of the sentence. Not a one. Makes me sad. (And clearly old.)

Something tells me it would be very unhealthy to work from home today.

We’re three days from Halloween in Minnesota and I’ve only seen one reference to a certain snowstorm that occurred on that day. This might be the strongest indicator yet of how many people have abandoned this app.

We are in for another nice day! Above-normal temperatures continue Monday and Tuesday before a cold front arrives. Widespread rain is likely on Tuesday and Wednesday.

My son finally comes home from military training in a couple weeks. The dogs are going to be so excited to see him. Until they realize how much he’ll decrease the amount of leftovers they currently enjoy.

First round of playoffs and Esko sweeps! Next game is Friday and I’m struggling to accept it’s the last time my senior will ever play in this gym.

College visit with my youngest. Pretty sure I embarrassed her stepping out of the tour for a quick pic. But it’s Murphy Hall! We were saving scripts on floppy discs when I was here. So many hours spent in this building!

Wrapping up our day in Dallas at the Stars home opener and it will never not be weird to be able to wear shorts and flip flops to a hockey game.

In Dallas to visit my son. Texas State Fair is going on so we had to check it out. Some is similar - I bought a veggie peeler from the same guy in MN last month. Something about this cookie stand seems awfully familiar but cookies are not even close to as good as Sweet Martha’s!
