I think Atiku's biggest problem is he doesn't realise that Nigeria's political landscape moved considerably in 2022/23, and he's currently on the same side with the man who's singlehandedly responsible for that massive shift.
This is where Tinubu far surpasses Atiku as a politician & why he's succeeded where Atiku hasn't; because if you watch closely, Tinubu is currently, apart from muscling and corrupting all the state institutions, is also at least adjusting his strategy a bit to account for the new political realities.
Atiku, on the other hand, is still stuck in the old political playground.

One part of the interview that people missed was when Atiku said Obi controls the SE and Amaechi controls the SS, trying to say they both control different regions Won’t be surprised if Amaechi is being considered as VP, got this info last week but discarded it.

Both Peter Obi & Kwankwaso have stood in national elections on the strength of their personalities and charisma.
Atiku has always leveraged established parties' networks. He has no personal connection with voters.
In some sense, AA is a lighter weight than each of these two.

My youngest sister has been kidnapped 💔! She was kidnapped on Monday, 13 April 2026, on her way to Abuja to report for duties from Ogun State. We have not gotten precise information about where the incident happened. She reached us briefly around 12.am yesterday, 15 April 2026, that she has been kidnapped since on Monday without details of who kidnapped her, why, and where she is before the phone was taken from her. Now, they have been calling me until this moment demanding N100 million naira. Where do I raise 100 million naira? I can't even raise 100 thousand naira. They are calling me with a registered number. Our preliminary findings have it that this happened in Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria. I have been to three different police stations. One in Lagos and the two at Mowe and Redeem Police stations. Police have no tracking system and that since there is no information about location, police said they can't work. I called police national PPRO. He said I should go and report at the nearest police station and ended the call. He did not pick calls again until now. I do not want to lose my sister. She is a very young girl who is just starting life. Please rescue her alive, safely, and complete.

Again, start politics from the basics PamPam. Goodluck Jonathan ran and won a presidential election in this same country, and even the current president openly supported him against his party’s candidate.
Winning primary elections where a selected few vote (under enveloped compulsion) doesn’t mean one is politically influential.
Having said that, may I ask why Atiku is APC’s preferred candidate for opposition???

In political strategy you don't take your candidate from same place with the person you want to displace. If the APC had chosen Rochas in 2015 GEJ would have won the election, the APC went opposite and won. In the same vein ADC has to as a matter of strategy gets its candidate not just because the north bringing about 60% of votes but also because political physics where force of traction is important.

Gunmen have abducted passengers, including candidates of the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination being conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination, along the Makurdi-Otukpo road in Benue State.
The victims were said to be travelling in a Benue Links bus from Makurdi to Otukpo when the vehicle was attacked on Wednesday night.
A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the incident, said the bus, which was conveying about 18 passengers, was intercepted near Otukpo around 8 pm by suspected bandits who took most of the occupants into the bush.

I always cringe when people who should be knowledgeable act so ignorant.
If someone as exposed as you is still asking these questions about Obi’s stewardship in Anambra, then I am concerned about how actual illiterates will reason.
Considering the availability of funds, no governor in Nigeria has been able to do what Obi did in education, healthcare, security, road construction, agriculture, and prudent governance, all without borrowing a dime domestically or externally.
In fact, beyond achievements, most of your favorite politicians could not survive or accomplish anything tangible if they worked under the same circumstances as Obi: governing with a 30-member House of Assembly made up entirely of opposition parties for 4 years.
Again, I am worried that someone like you, who works directly with a governor, still depends on the lies told in your WhatsApp group.
