I lost my header, profile pic, tweets from 2009/10, and ALL MY BOOKMARKS thanks to @elonmusk's abusive policy re: birthdate entry I'm in luv with Anne T. Faw 🤫

@elonmusk Its #MAGA.ts like you that need to be "removed from society"! x.com/i/trending/204…

Murder registry is a good idea from Elon. People should know if they are close to a murderer so proper precautions can be taken.

I'm all for holding corrupt cops accountable, but former Greater Manchester Police (UK) inspector Jonathan Ezard died after jumping from Barton Bridge on the M60. He had resigned from the force during a misconduct case after sharing publicly available social media photos of a female colleague and commenting on her appearance in messages to another officer. By all accounts, personal cell phones and off duty. He admitted the comments were "inappropriate" but disputed they amounted to "gross misconduct." The panel said he likely would have been dismissed and placed him on the policing barred list, ending his career. But his appeal was never heard. In other words they refused to hear any form of appeal. And appeals matter because they ensure decisions are reviewed for fairness, errors, and proportionality before someone’s career or life is permanently damaged. I’m all for holding officers accountable for misconduct, but we also have to ask: was this truly a dismissible offence that justified destroying a man’s career, and ultimately a life? Somewhere between accountability and institutional overreach, could we be losing good cops that could be receptive to further training and education? Thoughts?
