I don’t know if I have noticed, but there is a lack of support for locally hosted models for all major IDEs. I’ve been testing some local models, and for instance, @code works well for chatting but is terrible for agent mode, even for models that support tools. It seems there’s a movement to keep forcing us always to use public AIs. #visualstudiocode #programming #llms #localai
