DOGE didn't fail. It was never meant to reduce debt. It was meant to syphon your personal data to Elon Musk and his friends private businesses and gut agencies they don't like or that try to hold them accountable. It was a stunning success actually.

The bottomless spending spree at @LSU is a perfect example of one of life's great truisms. When people ask for more money for health care, infrastructure, education et al, and the politicians say there's no more money ... there's always more money.

Wrote a research paper on how basketball recruiting reporters perpetuated stereotypes via scouting reports in 2014! Insane how things like this persist.

“But paying the players will ruin the sport.” Everybody is still watching. The fear tactics used to keep exploiting players failed.

I’m not sure how old you are or your knowledge of how interviews with Hop-hop magazines, to GQ and even Play Boy went. They had in depth interviews and discussions on geopolitical and national issues. Media, even entertainment media (MTV news) was major and had real journalism.
