Donna Murray Robinson, a Parole Supervisor with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), posted that Karmelo would be protected in prison and expressed zero sympathy for Austin Metcalf’s family, writing in part: “I for one don’t give fk about the family’s loss... Let them start burying some of their for a change.” The TDCJ responded swiftly: “Following review of recent public statements by an individual identifying as a TDCJ Parole Supervisor, her employment has been terminated.
