Today we honor the life of Kristin Smart on her birthday. Kristin was 19 years old and a freshman at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) when she was murdered in 1996. While accountability was secured with the 2022 conviction of Paul Flores, Kristin’s remains have still not been found. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office remains committed to finding Kristin and bringing her home to her family. Told the Oncologist about stopping treatment. He was generally sad. But supports my decision. He will continue to see me once a month and allow blood tests. He said I'm considered terminal at this point. He gave me 2-3 months to live. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
