The Kodiaks name was originally used by Kitchener's Senior B Lacrosse team from 1981 to 1984. The Kodiaks finished second 3 times in their 4 years. They hosted the 1984 Presidents Cup in 1984 and lost in the final game to the mighty Northmen from Orangeville 👍 @PresCupLax

It really is too bad this doesn't happen more often. In 1996, Coach Dr. Dave Lough brought his Jr. A Burnaby Lakers to Ontario for a 5 day, 5 game exhibition series, June 6 to 10, against Ontario's best teams. In the final game on June 10th, Burnaby beat Kitchener-Waterloo 11-8.

🥍🏒Fergus native, Wilfred "Bucko" McDonald is the only member(I believe) of the Mann Cup/Stanley Cup club. He won a Mann Cup with the Brampton Excelsiors in 1931. He won 3 Stanley Cups, 2 with Detriot in 1936 and 37 and 1 with Toronto in 1942🏒🥍 @CLHoF @MapleLeafs
