@Arundodonuts @KoftheP @PeakDistrictMTB Bridleway only appalling in winter/spring/autumn. Once dry is fantastic technical/pumpy trail. There’s certainly an argument to shut it Oct-March. Would protect against erosion/deterioration. We’d regularly shut tracks in 🇳🇿 to protect them over winter. Eg 👇 #mtb #peakdistrict

@KoftheP Chapel - Hayfield - Chinley. Glorious. Trails running well few puddles & sticky bits. hayfield campsite descent pretty dry until very bottom. Pls avoid top of chinley churn as is complete bog (up over hill & new allotments avoids worst & get best of cracken edge) #mtb
