These are general phases focused in post-production, not from a specific format or software. I can be less general and detail more about my zone other day. As someone who plays between 3D and 2D, i can notice the models has better textures, more polygons, more defined shadows and more amount of lights. Thing is that those details doesn't has a big impact in people's eyes. Small changes, like the steps i commented, are what shifts people's minds from "good" to "movie"

Step 9: Blancing colors, making them in a green direction without ignoring the yellows from the Diaojiaolou. This is were people notice the "cinema" feeling Step 10: Add a small light in the heads, were light is perceived mostly. Their borders dilute like the buildings do Step 11: Sparks in the edges. It gives sensation of power, wear and tear, which has cohesion with a fight Step 12: I later add a bit of dust. Air it's full of it, most in urban places, making integration more believable
