@SensCentral Probably but you have to be absolutely sure you can get a replacement if you are doing that can't make that pick imo have to trade it for someone else and who's out there that's an upgrade. I'm sure there's some names we don't know but it doesn't make sense to do that imo

@MikeBartner I don't get the impression they'll move Spence they are just exploring options which every team should be doing and if a trade falls into place for an upgrade then sure but that's the only way I see him getting moved

@k_lyons55 @ADiMarco25 @DailyFaceoff I don't care about the contract that much I mean it's atrocious but Hamilton can't play hockey he's terrible and like I said all offense which we don't need we already have enough puck movers all he does is block Yak when Yak is probably better than him Hamilton is a 3rd pair guy

@k_lyons55 @ADiMarco25 @DailyFaceoff They have Matinpalo for reassurance though I don't think it's that crazy I'm not against them getting someone but it has to be for the right price they can't give up close to what Philly wants for Risto it's just too much. There's options I'm sure but the prices seem crazy rn

Saying risto is useless when he just played 25 min a night in the playoffs putting up .5 ppg just shows you haven’t watched him since buffalo

@k_lyons55 @ADiMarco25 @DailyFaceoff I'd bank on the young dman with great analytics over the overrated Risto, that's just me Risto has never showed much at the NHL level other than he's a big body. Offensively he's bad and defensively he's ok you said PP QB Sens already have 4 so Risto is useless and a bad 1 anyway

Like this for both parties. For Colorado Colton was a very replaceable piece making a sizable $4M next season. For Nashville he only has a year left and in an elevated role will probably fetch you a similar or better return at next years deadline if you (likely) stink.

The Predators are acquiring Ross Colton and Isak Posch in exchange for Magnus Chrona, a 2026 3rd round pick and a 2027 3rd round pick that previously belonged to Colorado. Colton had 24P in 73GP this season.

@k_lyons55 @ADiMarco25 @DailyFaceoff What fantasy world do you live in then? Every team has a bottom pair dman elevated into their top 4 at some point otherwise you need 7 top 4 dmen on a team. Also is Risto a top 4 dman in your mind? Spence is way better and he's on our 3rd pair so where does Risto play?
