My reaction as a meteorologist when someone posts a screenshot of their shitty phone weather app saying we're getting 15-20" of snow on Sunday.

It is simply too early for meteorologists to be hyping up a major winter storm in the Mid-Atlantic region for this weekend. Good pattern ✔️ Storm signal ✔️ But showing deterministic model guidance with snow totals is downright irresponsible.

Going on day 2 without heat. Would be nice if @LennoxAir would actually answer their help line so the tech can fix my heater...
