BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. Iranian proxies mobilizing to kill Americans, Iranian sleeper cells in the US possibly getting activated, US embassies and military bases globally at risk from asymmetric attacks, the FBI on full alert trying to detect and disrupt potential Iranian terrorist reprisals, knocking on doors and rustling the trees, and this guy, the leader of the most important US law enforcement entity that is designed to protect Americans, is partying it up in Italy. I know he's a huge hockey player and fan (which is commendable). But this is very unserious behavior as the US is poised to go to war.
