@AstroCounselKK Sorry. I don't. I wouldn't completely outsource my kid's education to a third party. For the kind of people, society has today, they will all end up with mental health issues.

Who all agree 👍 if yes do like the post and show your support.. A recent survey suggests that nearly 90 percent of Hindus in India support the revival of the Gurukul education system, highlighting a growing interest in traditional learning models that focus on values, discipline, and overall development. This sentiment goes beyond nostalgia—it reflects a deeper concern about the current direction of modern education. In a system often centered around exams, rankings, and rote memorization, many believe something essential is missing: the development of character, purpose, and inner balance. The Gurukul system, rooted in ancient Indian tradition, offered much more than academic teaching. It was a way of life where students lived with their guru, learning not only from books but also through daily conduct, nature, and real-life experiences. Values such as respect, humility, self-discipline, and responsibility were naturally integrated into everyday living. Supporters of its revival believe that such an approach could help address key challenges faced by students today—stress, lack of focus, emotional instability, and a growing disconnect from cultural identity. By combining Gurukul principles with modern education, there is potential to create a more balanced system that nurtures both intellect and integrity. At the same time, the discussion is not without complexity. Critics argue that education must evolve with time, embracing technology, global perspectives, and scientific progress. The real question is not about replacing modern systems, but enhancing them. Can ancient wisdom and modern knowledge work together? Can tradition and innovation move forward side by side? This growing support has opened an important national conversation. It encourages educators, policymakers, and parents to rethink what education truly means. Is it only a path to employment, or is it a foundation for life itself? At its core, the Gurukul revival debate is less about the past and more about the future. It raises an important idea—that education should shape not only skilled individuals but also responsible, ethical, and aware human beings. If education is meant to build both the mind and character, then looking back may not be a step backward—but a step toward balance. #EducationRevival #IndianLearning #ValueBasedEducation #CulturalRoots #FutureOfEducation

@drsunita02 First of all one has to give money out of generosity and not as a bribe so that they do the work they are supposed to do. This is the same wrong mentality that encourages bribery in Govt offices.

Problem with some elite (read financially well off) people is that they don't like to give a small tip of around 100 rupees to the Safaiwala/Kachra leke jane wala bhayya every month. They say if the society is giving them the monthly salary, why do we need to give that small tip? And they wonder why the bhayya doesn't take kachra from their homes daily, whereas he collects kachra from the neighbouring homes.... While on paper they are correct, society is giving them a salary, but I personally think giving that small tip or giving them gifts for festivals is my way of showing gratitude to the person who does one of the most menial jobs ....he does his job and my home is clean. And around 100 rupees per month is nothing..... #Kindness

@DuttShekhar There were no feeders back then. Their energy was spent searching for food. Now people go out of the way and feed them and they spend their energy breeding. For every animal feeding leads to breeding.

Just an observation That when I was a kid (30 years ago), I distinctly remember there were no stray dogs We’d go to other localities to play and all, no stray dogs anywhere But now, wherever we go, there’s almost an army of stray dogs waiting What changed ???

15 litres of refined oil per month for a family of 5 adults and 2 children under 6 years. This equals 180 litres of oil a year!!!! This is the highest oil consumption that I have seen. #RefinedOil

@Kal_Chiron More expensive the school less sadistic the teachers. Don't know about Mumbai but even for basic hygiene like clean toilets with working flushes, we need to pay higher fees in Chennai. Or need to be influential to get into reputed schools with good facilities & reasonable fees.

I was told the biggest issue in a joint family system is FOOD. You can't cook what you want because "Humaray gher mein ye koi nahe khata", you can't order because "Humaray gher mein ye nakhray nahe chaltay", you can't go out when you want because "Ye koi waqt hai bahir janay ka".

@maheshperi @careers360 Not only DEI and reservations, making every entrance about mcq is the reason behind this decline. We limit the pool of candidates. If you notice, almost all seats get filled by IITians. We are not taking candidates from other backgrounds who may have far superior creativity.

A comparison of 2 years data flings to NIRF of 17 IIMs from 2022-23 to 2024-25 by @careers360 shows that the Fees increased 12% over 2 years, while salary dropped 0.32%. Factoring in Inflation of 9%, the bet Impact on students is a 22% burden. Some IIMs are worse off. 1. At IIM Amritsar, the median salary fell 22.9% while fees increased by 19% 2. IIM Bodhgaya median salary fell over 22% 3. IIM Raipur median salary fell 8% while fees increased 24% 4. The cost of a new campus in Sambalpur meant a 60% additional fee burden on students. 5. The name change of NITIE Mumbai to IIM Mumbai cost students a 168% fees jump. Education is no longer about access and equity. It is about big brands, big campuses and high fees with lower returns by the years.. IIMs are now all about managing balance sheets and paying back their own EMIs while students earn lesser, take loans to pay fees, and take a decade to repay education loans. news.careers360.com/iim-fees-rise-… @PMOIndia @EduMinOfIndia

@sunandavashisht Why do women need reservations? Aren't we capable enough? All thst people need is clean air, clean water, pollution free environment , clean roads and unadulterated food. These are the basic things needed but are lacking in India.

@MRVChennai What happened to the democratic principle of "One person, One vote"? Or are people living in North lesser persons? A day will come when rich people will start demanding that voting rights should be given only to those who pay income tax because others are less disciplined

Hey North Indian brothers 👋 Genuine question from a South Indian: What's your honest opinion on the upcoming Delimitation exercise? Do you think seats in Lok Sabha should be purely based on current population (so North gains a lot more seats)? Or should other factors like GDP contribution, population control success, and economic performance also be considered so South doesn't lose relative influence? Curious to hear your thoughts – no agenda, just want to understand the perspective from your side. Let's discuss respectfully 🔥 #Delimitation #NorthSouthIndia #IndianUnity
