#tvlspoilers the thing about this season is, even if you take out of consideration the microaggressions we have seen so far, the show loses something MAJOR by removing race as a core theme. It added so much richness and nuance and complexity to the show in the first two seasons

really missing the way iwtv was written as a historical drama/period piece. i get why they’re doing something different for tvl, but w iwtv everything was so well paced, written and each episode felt COMPLETE & fulfilling. tvl feels more like pieces of a whole than iwtv ever did
