FAITH THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS I
Mark 11:23 (KJV): “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
What a beautiful assurance the Lord gives us in this portion of Scripture. He reveals to us the limitless possibilities of faith. By faith, mountains can be moved; obstacles can be uprooted; and every seeming impossibility can be cast into the sea.
There may be mountains of poverty, sickness, marital distress, fear, or uncertainty standing before you. They may appear intimidating, stubborn, and immovable. But the Lord has already given you authority in His Word. You can speak to every mountain and command it to leave your path.
Yet there is an even higher walk of faith, a deeper realm of trust in God, where faith refuses to even recognize the mountain’s claim to reality.
This is the wisdom of those who refuse to observe lying vanities. As Jonah 2:8 says, “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.” When we fix our eyes on contrary circumstances, we risk giving attention to what God has not spoken. But when our hearts are anchored in His Word, we lay hold of His mercy, His truth, and His victory.
This is the faith of the believer who, though pressed with symptoms in the body, refuses to bow to the verdict of weakness, and instead declares the life, strength, and health of God.
This is the faith of the man who hears troubling news about his job, yet remains quiet in spirit, restful in heart, and full of peace, because his confidence is not in systems of men, but in the faithfulness of God.
True faith declares, “There is no mountain.” Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the power You have entrusted to me as Your child. I walk in boldness and without fear, because I know that the Greater One lives in me. My eyes are fixed on You, and not on issues or circumstances that contradict Your Word. This is my daily consciousness. Because of this, I truly move mountains, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PHANEROO MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL DEVOTION
Friday, 24th April 2026
Apostle Grace Lubega
KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES: WHY WE WORK
1 Thessalonians 4:11–12 (KJV): “And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.”
In our theme Scripture, Paul shows us that one purpose of work is that we may “walk honestly toward them that are without.” In other words, how we handle work can either honor the gospel or bring reproach to it.
This is especially important in our day, where some believers, particularly among the younger generation, have grown careless about work. Some prefer to do nothing productive, yet are constantly begging for transport, rent, food, and basic needs. Sadly, this causes those in the world to look at born again Christians as unserious and irresponsible, and it makes them question the gospel we preach.
Beloved, this ought not to be so. The gospel does not produce lazy men. The life of Christ in us should make us diligent and dependable. While there is certainly a place for helping one another in times of genuine need, there is a difference between true need and a lifestyle of irresponsibility.
Work is part of your testimony. When you labor faithfully and carry your responsibilities with seriousness, your life preaches the gospel.
Therefore, do not despise labour. Embrace it as part of the honor of representing Christ well before men. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 4:28; 2 Thessalonians 3:10
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for teaching me the dignity and purpose of labour. I walk in diligence, responsibility, and faithfulness in all that I do. May my life bring honor to the gospel, and may my work ethic reflect the beauty of Christ in me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
