Role/roll. As in, "players should know their roll."

Phase/faze is my fave example.

An interesting thing I find about a lot of online writing (ie forums, comment sections, reddit, etc): people botching phrases that they've heard but never actually read

"Make due": to impose a deadline "Make do": what you actually meant to write if you were familiar with the phrase in written form

Rewatched Logan over the weekend and I have to say, I'm impressed with how the ending works on multiple levels.

related to that rant: Chef's Table is the best original show on Netflix. Come at me.

I think this breaking of the connection between food and land is why environmentalism beyond the superficial continues to be a tough sell for a lot of people (3)
