Looking at this account, yes: when we last regularly posted here, it was still called Twitter. We’re still adjusting to the “X” thing. See you in 10 years? Just kidding. Thanks for the bug reports - this round of fixes came directly from them.

Sharing + sync are sturdier now: we hardened invite validation, improved availability accuracy, and tightened safety checks in contact/sync flows.

It’s been a while. No launch video, no dramatic rebrand - just a lot of fixes. Here’s a quick tour of what’s new in fruux.

@fruux First post in over six years, I thought you guys put this on cruise and stepped out.

We had degraded service over the last couple of weeks. We’ve shipped multiple fixes and performance optimizations. Things are now stable and significantly faster. We’re monitoring closely.

@AhujaSamantha See here (and links on there) for details: support.fruux.com/faq/is-my-data… End-to-end encryption (i.e. client holds the key) isn't possible without breaking the CardDAV/CalDAV standard.

@fruux It works now. Thanks!! So data is encrypted, but not end-to-end? Meaning a password breach or you accessing my data are technically possible?

@bilbothebird @davx5app Yes, you should use @davx5app - it's much better and has more features than our former (and meanwhile very outdated) Android app.

Hey @fruux I have been trying to retrieve a lost password for 2 weeks and every time I get a dancing zebra 505 error. One of my devices is still syncing so I know the account is working, I just need password help. Can you send a link to lohaus@******mail.com? TY!
