@fryalt Yes, but the exact location is still unknown because each time the ICON-EU updates, it shifts either north or south. Also, only a few models indicate the presence of this sting jet. However, compared to this afternoon, there has been an increase in support for this sting jet.

I really hope I'm not right, but this reminds me of a sting jet. If this actually verifies, there will be a lot of damage.

I don't want to be over alarmist for tomorrow, but I think storm Marta has potential to cause further wind damage in the areas affected by storm Kristin, although with much more weaker winds. This is the ICON weather model forecast.

WATCHING MARTA VERY CLOSELY… The possibility exists of another very intense wind scenario close to the center of low pressure tomorrow (Saturday) as I mentioned in my last post. We don’t know exactly how strong this could be, or what part of the coast will be affected.
Nonetheless, these are very worrying trends on higher resolution model guidance. Please stand by for more information today and tomorrow as we track #Marta.
