I think if you going to be this kind of a person, don't bother getting married. I’ve seen a lot of marriages these days normalizing this, and honestly, it’s quite concerning. I understand valuing family, but marriage is about building a new foundation together. The Bible says in Genesis 2:24, “a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” That kind of unity doesn’t reflect two people living separate lives or choosing to be apart during important moments like holidays. It means creating your own traditions, your own home, and showing up together. Visiting family is important, yes but it should never come at the expense of the oneness and unity that marriage is meant to reflect🤷🏼‍♀️

REMINDER not to underestimate how much of a blessing it is to wake up without medical issues and not rely on meds.
