@BobbyDukeArts Thanks for the recommendation. Have you ever heard Cardiacs? They don't come much more creative and interesting, especially if you like more challenging time signatures and key changes. X

I just discovered Haken and oh my glob. One of the most creative, interesting, and beautiful bands I've heard in a long time.

Check out those two songs and let me know what you think.
@BobbyDukeArts I knew there was a good reason to occasionally log into Twitter these days! We're not too far away and don't have plans for the weekend. Looks like it could be a winner and our ten year old would go into spasm at the idea of meeting you.
I will be attending makers Central in Birmingham UK this May 17-18! If you're around those parts you should totally go, not only because it's awesome, but I will be giving away *limited* free merch and exclusive stickers! Link to get tickets in replies👇 Hope to see you there!
Ok the Power of the Internet
Can anyone explain this flying over berkshire england at about 8 pm local time this evening
A star that was spewing out in the shape of a spiral
Has a satellite broken somewhere as moved across the sky
@funtycunk Yes, it makes a change. I’m sure (were it to receive any engagement) that within 5 comments, someone would come along and poke it with a big shitty stick, Twitter being the cesspit we’ve come to expect.
along with many, we are starting the migration over to where the skies are blue...
we hope you'll follow along: find us on Bluesky at derbyshirebirds.bsky.social
Huge thanks to @marcrileydj and @gidcoe for playing our song from the Lake of Puppies EP ‘Large Life’, which has finally emerged after 30 years. The song was written by Sharron Fortnam and I and produced by Tim Smith ❤️
This service has now moved to BlueSky. Please follow @staffs-birds.bsky.social as I won’t be posting here in future. Also note it’s staffs-birds not staffs_birds
@JazRignall A load of my old toys were languishing in a box in the loft for the past few decades, I bought a cheap cabinet for my office and they now provide a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I glance upon them.
Well, well, freakin' well. Acquired in the mid-80s at car boot sales for pennies. Packed in a box in 1988. Completely forgotten about until I just found them in the last, dusty box right in the back of my garage. Probably not hugely valuable, but will be fun to sort through!
It looks like a good percentage of the people I follow /followed on here have now migrated to Bluesky. So I'm going to attempt to ditch this shitscape and have a crack with funtycunk.bsky.social... I'll probably drop back periodically to see what I've been missing.
