I’ve been working as a LOAN OFFICER at a small community bank for fifteen years. Last month, an elderly woman came to my desk applying for a $10,000 personal loan. Her credit score was perfect. But her income was just a small monthly social security check. According to our algorithm, she didn't qualify. The debt-to-income ratio was way too high. I had to print out the rejection LETTER and give her the news. She just nodded quietly, wrapped her old wool shawl tighter around her shoulders, and left. I felt terrible. But RULES are RULES....

The results will come. Until then, I’m staying consistent.
